84 year old Joyce & her late husband were always avid country music fans. When her sister in law introduced her to the sounds of Daniel O Donnell, Joyce was immediately hooked.
Joyce has been living at Fernhill House for over 10 months now. She has seen Daniel on 2 occasions previously, but yearned to see him again. As part of the Majesticare’s ‘Just For Me’ initiative the team at Fernhill House reached out to Daniel who sent her this lovely personal message. The team then invited her family in for a surprise meal. During the meal we revealed Daniel O Donnell’s video to Joyce. The other residents of Fernhill house were able to be a part of Joyce’s ‘Just For Me’ moment after the meal by sampling some of the freshly brewed Irish coffee’s & listening to some of Daniel’s hits along with Joyce & her family.
